Eaton publishes new MEM catalogue

Hundreds of electrical installation products for homes, offices and public buildings are listed in the new MEM Consumer Interface Products catalogue from Eaton.    The lavishly-illustrated 284-page A4 catalogue covers wiring accessories (switches, socket-outlets, ceiling accessories etc.), domestic consumer units and circuit-protection devices, lighting control systems and cable management products.

Eaton is a major UK supplier of electrical installation products, from substations and main switchboards for commercial and industrial buildings to switches and socket-outlets for the home.   

 

The new Consumer Interface Products catalogue is divided into three sections:-

MEMSTYLE wiring accessories including white moulded switches and socket-outlets,   modern Ultra flat-plate accessories, traditional brass plate accessories, Spectra modular switches, ceiling accessories and weather-protected accessories.

HA CONTROLS Lighting control products and cable management systems.

MEMERA domestic consumer units, protective devices and transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) products.

New products include the revolutionary Ezybond earth clamp, two-gang RCD-protected socket-outlets and a new, expanded version of the D-bus lighting management system.

The catalogue includes a description of each range of products together with essential information and over 800 thumbnail photographs of individual products.   Information is presented in a tabular format to facilitate selection of products and identification of catalogue numbers.     Guidance notes are provided for the more technical products and there is an index by catalogue number.

Eaton's wiring accessories are high quality products featuring double-pole switching and two or more earth terminals on all socket-outlets, with a choice of inboard or outboard rockers on two-gang units.   Flush units are available in white moulded or a wide selection of metal plate finishes including brass, stainless steel, highly polished and bronze.   Meanwhile the Ultra thin (1.5mm) flat plate range comes in eight standard finishes or 180 RAL colours.

All Eaton wiring accessory ranges are available as a complete suite of matching accessories including dimmer switches, shaver supply units, telephone outlets and TV/FM/satellite outlets.   Many special products are included in the range including key-operated socket-outlets, 5A socket-outlets for lighting, modular switches with normal or broad rockers, a unique 'find-a-lite' feature and traditional dolly switches.

The modern Memera 2000 consumer unit range includes the Memera 2000AD system, designed to meet the most common consumer unit arrangements with 16 in-line and split load units in modular enclosures.   Special features of the design make for quick and easy installation. Outgoing circuits can be protected by miniature circuit-breakers, HRC fuses or Eaton's unique 'pod' RCBOs.

HA lighting controls range from the simplest dimmer systems to sophisticated DSI and DALI systems with data bus communication, presence/absence detection and daylight sensing.
